Locum Orthopedic Spine Surgery Physician Assistant

Greater Houston Area, TX | Full-Time Locum (312 Mos) or Locum-to-Perm

No Weekends. No On-Call. MF 8am5pm.

Looking for elite surgical compensation without the burnout? Palm Health Resources is hiring a Physician Assistant to partner directly with a nationally renowned fellowship-trained Orthopedic Spine Surgeon at a well-respected health system.

You will be working alongside an amazing surgeon and his rock-solid, dedicated OR team, your primary focus is running the outpatient elective spine clinic. No outside-of-hours call, no weekends, and zero clinic procedures.

• Premium Pay: $110.00 $125.00 / hour.
• True Flexibility: Keep your weekends. Hours only run long on designated OR days.
• OR Access on Your Terms: First-assist primarily for emergency backup, or step in to gain elite hands-on experience with highly complex spinal deformities.
• Open to Training: While Ortho/Spine experience is a major plus, the surgeon is highly receptive to teaching and mentoring an adaptable PA looking to enter the sub-specialty.
• Full Practice Support: Backed by an on-site Practice Manager, multiple MAs, and in-clinic X-ray. Split time between regional offices and the main Houston Medical Center.

• Graduate of an accredited PA program with active NCCPA certification.
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS.
