Salary: $300,000 - $400,000+
A nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm is seeking an Energy Regulatory Affairs Associate Attorney with 5-8 years of experience to join its Minneapolis office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with energy transactional and regulatory experience who is looking to work on sophisticated energy projects, regulatory matters, and commercial transactions within a collaborative national practice.
QualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school
Active Minnesota bar admission or ability to become admitted in Minnesota
5-8 years of energy transactional and regulatory experience
Experience advising clients on energy-related commercial transactions and regulatory compliance matters
Knowledge of federal and state energy regulatory frameworks
Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Excellent academic credentials
Advise clients on energy-related transactions and regulatory matters
Draft and negotiate transaction documents, commercial agreements, and regulatory filings
Counsel clients regarding federal, state, and local energy regulations
Support the development, acquisition, financing, and operation of energy projects
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex energy and infrastructure matters
Work directly with clients on strategic business and regulatory issues
Sophisticated energy and regulatory practice
