Position Overview

Lloyd Richards Personnel is actively recruiting Tool & Die Makers for multiple manufacturing clients throughout the Tulsa area. We are seeking skilled professionals with experience building, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining tooling, dies, fixtures, jigs, and precision components used in manufacturing operations.

Whether your background includes tool room operations, die maintenance, machining, fixture building, or production tooling, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures, and production equipment
• Set up and operate machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and saws
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and tooling specifications
• Inspect components using precision measuring instruments and quality inspection equipment
• Fit, assemble, and verify tooling components to required tolerances
• Diagnose tooling issues and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability
• Support production operations by ensuring tooling performs to specifications
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to tooling and repairs
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

• Previous Tool & Die Maker, Tool Room, Machinist, or related manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• Experience operating manual machining equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of precision measurement and inspection techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
