Sign-on Incentive:
Candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.
36 hours/week, FT, Night Rotation (12 hour shifts)
Job Responsibilities:
Drives the commitment for exceptional patient experience
Performs routine diagnostic imaging procedures, including portable, fluoroscopic, and operating room exams, as requested by referring physicians
Completes and documents all required imaging and procedural information accurately on requisitions
Communicates effectively with referring physicians, radiologists, ancillary departments, and patients to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
Adheres to radiation safety protocols and ensures compliance with ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principles
Demonstrates proficiency in using UHS information systems for imaging workflow and patient documentation
Provides clear patient education related to imaging procedures, ensuring patient understanding and comfort
Maintains accurate and thorough documentation to support high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology
Preferred:
- Not Applicable
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- New York State License as Radiologic Technologist
- ARRT Registration
Preferred:
- CPR certification within the first three months of hire.
