Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Dalton Gardens, ID where you will provide outpatient pediatric physical therapy focusing on developmental milestones, fine motor skills, sensory needs, and work with children on the autism spectrum. Typical caseload involves one-on-one pediatric sessions of one hour with five minutes reserved for parent feedback. The clinic includes a therapy dog on site.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral) from an accredited program.
- Active Idaho state PT license required prior to the start of assignment.
- Previous pediatric outpatient experience required. Experience treating developmental delays, fine motor and sensory concerns, and autism spectrum disorder preferred.
- BLS certification may be required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Ability to conduct one-on-one, hour-long pediatric sessions and provide concise parent feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in outpatient pediatric clinics.
- Comfort working in clinics that include therapy animals.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday.
- Shift pattern: Four 10-hour shifts per week.
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Guaranteed minimum 36 hours per week; clinic anticipates approximately 40 hours per week.
