Our client, a healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional patient education and support, is seeking a motivated and reliable Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be an essential part of the Michigan Medicine team supporting two resource center libraries at the Frankel CVC and Pavilion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.
Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Pay Range: $20.00/hr.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM
What's the Job?
- Support daily operations of the resource center libraries by assisting patients and families with finding health-related resources
- Provide education on available programs and services utilizing the library collection, the University of Michigan Health website, and internet resources
- Assist with administrative tasks, including supporting educational committees, workshops, and special projects
- Ensure smooth operation of library services and maintain a welcoming environment for visitors
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the resource centers
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assist with internet and computer-based resources
- Comfortable working onsite in a healthcare environment
