Job Description
Full-Time CNA Float Position | Monday–Friday
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and flexible Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a unique full-time float role supporting resident care, transportation, and supply clerk operations throughout the facility.
This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM, making it an excellent opportunity for CNAs seeking stable daytime hours while expanding their skills beyond direct care.
The ideal candidate will enjoy variety in their workday, work well independently, and be committed to providing excellent service and support to residents and staff.
Schedule
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
Position Summary
This CNA Float position supports multiple departments within the facility and plays an important role in ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include providing resident care assistance, transporting residents to appointments and activities, and assisting with supply and inventory management.
This role is perfect for someone who is adaptable, organized, and enjoys helping wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care and support to residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as assigned
- Safely transport residents throughout the facility and to appointments as needed
- Support nursing and departmental staff with daily operational needs
- Assist with supply inventory, stocking, and distribution
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, and team members
- Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and resident rights standards
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- Valid driver’s license in good standing with an acceptable driving record required
- Prior long-term care or healthcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
