MCJV Medical Partners, LLC is seeking a Primary Care Manager to lead and support high-quality patient care within our onsite clinic operations in Portland, TX.
Position SummaryThe Primary Care Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day primary care clinic operations, ensuring patients receive timely, coordinated, and clinically appropriate services. This role partners closely with clinical and administrative teams to maintain smooth workflow, strong patient experiences, and reliable service delivery.
The ideal candidate combines leadership, operational oversight, and patient-centered judgment to drive continuous improvement while upholding applicable policies, standards, and documentation practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily clinic operations for primary care services, ensuring efficient scheduling, patient flow, and appropriate staffing coverage.
Lead and support clinical and administrative teams through clear expectations, coaching, and performance feedback.
Monitor patient access and service quality metrics, addressing gaps proactively to improve timeliness and care coordination.
Ensure consistent adherence to clinical protocols, documentation standards, and operational procedures across the primary care environment.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline processes, strengthen communication, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience in healthcare operations or clinical leadership, with demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day workflow.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of patient-centered care practices and the importance of accurate, timely documentation.
Ability to lead teams with professionalism, fairness, and effective communication across clinical and administrative roles.
Commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and maintaining a safe, respectful patient care environment.
Prior experience managing a primary care clinic or similar ambulatory care setting.
Familiarity with quality improvement concepts, performance monitoring, and process optimization in healthcare.
Experience handling patient access challenges, scheduling workflows, and care coordination across services.
Demonstrated leadership in coaching teams, supporting performance standards, and maintaining a positive workplace environment.
Experience working in an onsite care environment with strong attention to operational detail and responsiveness.
