Pharmacy Technician – USP McCreary (Pine Knot, KY)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Location: USP McCreary, Pine Knot, Kentucky

Solvet Services is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support the Health Services Department at USP McCreary, a Federal Bureau of Prisons facility located in Pine Knot, Kentucky.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pharmacist with ordering, stocking, storing, and dispensing medications

• Maintain pharmacy inventory, narcotics counts, and medication records

• Prepare unit-dose and pre-packaged medications

• Restock pharmacy supplies and automated dispensing systems

• Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record

• Perform administrative and clerical pharmacy duties

• Ensure compliance with BOP policies, pharmacy procedures, and infection control standards

Qualifications:

• Completion of a formal Pharmacy Technician training program

• Minimum of 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience

• Current CPR certification

• Strong computer and documentation skills

• Ability to pass a Federal Bureau of Prisons background investigation

• Correctional healthcare experience preferred but not required

Schedule & Benefits:
