Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Certificate completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Cath lab experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro interventional, IR, and EP experience a plus.
Required Credentials: Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Preferred Credentials: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology.
Unit Details: Provides care in the invasive lab for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology devices, peripheral vascular, neuro interventional, and interventional radiology procedures. Produces quality imaging and assists with invasive procedures, including technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation using automated techniques. Circulates, scrubs, and/or monitors cardiac cath, neuro interventional, peripheral vascular, structural, interventional radiology, EP device, and Watchman cases. Cath lab work includes left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, right heart catheterization, pericardiocentesis, treatment of in-stent restenosis, coronary angiogram, temporary pacemaker, Watchman, EVAR, cerebral angiogram, aneurysm treatment with flow diverters and coils, STEMI and stroke intervention, peripheral vascular work, pacemaker insertion, nephrostomy tube placement, and drains. Uses PACS, IVUS, FFR/iFR, lithotripsy, Impella, IABP, OCT, Rotarex, HawkOne, Penumbra, EKOS, and Inari.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call rotation, including weekends and holidays. May work variable shifts assigned to meet department needs. Must take call independently within 6 months.
Floating Requirements: Required to float to all areas of the department, including Prep and Recovery, as needed. Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
