Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Pikeville Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: EKG required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 5 years of experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: BSN preferred.

Unit Details: Cares for young adult, adult, and elderly patients. Pre- and post-operative care including general, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgical, and genitourinary cases. Pain management, chest tube care/insertion, PEG/G-tube/J-tube care, traction, drainage care (percutaneous, sump, Jackson Pratt, Hemovac), NIH Stroke Scale, KODA, central line access, specialized IV drips and titration, IV therapy, IVADD, waived testing, and transfusion therapy.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 4 years

1 reference required from within the last 4 years
