Now Hiring: Shipping & Receiving Associate delivery driver
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm $19/hr
Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Description
The Shipping & Receiving position is responsible for managing the daily inflow and outflow of materials, including loading, unloading, inspecting, and distributing goods within the warehouse, as well as packing and labeling outgoing shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Receive merchandise and supplies
- Prepare, package, and preserve products for customer shipments
- Coordinate with carriers and arrange product pickups
- Maintain finished goods inventory in an organized manner
- Ensure adequate shipping materials and supplies are always available
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Perform local pickups and deliveries
- Complete additional tasks as directed by the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications & Requirements
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of manufacturing and operations experience NEEDED
- Forklift operating experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand instructions and standard operating procedures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with management and team members
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift
- Must follow all warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements
