Pharmacy Technician
Location Jeffersonville, IN | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $18.95/hour
• 1st Shift:
– Monday: 8:00am–6:30pm
– Tuesday–Friday: 10:00am–7:30pm
– Saturday: 12:00pm–8:30pm
Role Impact: The Pharmacy Technician supports licensed pharmacists in delivering accurate, safe, and compliant medication dispensing within a high-volume distribution environment. Success in this role is defined by precision, productivity, regulatory compliance, and consistent teamwork. This position directly impacts patient safety and operational efficiency by ensuring medications are prepared and handled correctly every time.
Key Duties
• Prepare, measure, count, label, and package prescription medications according to order specifications.
• Replenish automated dispensing cells to full capacity, including opening large quantities of medication bottles and cases.
• Maintain organized, clean, and compliant dispensing areas to support workflow accuracy.
• Conduct inventory stock rotation to prevent medication expiration and ensure proper storage.
• Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA compliance and accurate recordkeeping.
Minimum Qualifications
• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous pharmacy experience
Equipment & Work Environment
• Select and lift products from shelves to order filling lines.
• Consistently carry 20–30 lbs. short distances and 15 lbs. on an extended basis from filling station to conveyor.
• Walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
• Perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced distribution environment.
