Maintenance Technician 1

Pay Rate: $19.00 – $23.00/hour (based on experience)

Location: Warehouse/Manufacturing Facility

Position Overview

Ron’s Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting with equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring facility systems operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

·         Assist with preventative maintenance (PMs) on production and warehouse equipment

·         Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

·         Repair or replace defective parts such as belts, motors, sensors, and wiring

·         Support maintenance team with equipment inspections and diagnostics

·         Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas

·         Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout

·         Document completed work and report issues to supervisors

·         Assist with general facility maintenance (lighting, plumbing, minor building repairs)

Qualifications

·         1+ year of maintenance or mechanical experience preferred

·         Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment

·         Ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures

·         Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments is a plus

·         Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

·         Must be reliable and punctual

Preferred Skills

·         Basic electrical knowledge (motors, wiring, troubleshooting)

·         Experience with conveyors or production equipment

·         Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required

Requirements

·         Must pass a background check and drug screening

·         Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

·         Must follow all GMP and safety guidelines if applicable
