General Construction Laborer

InLine: General Construction Laborer Position

Position Summary: InLine is seeking dedicated General Laborers to join our dynamic field operations team. This position involves using various hand tools including shovels, post hole diggers, and pickaxes, as well as working alongside heavy machinery such as Directional Drills, Excavators, Forklifts, and Dump Trucks. General Laborers play a crucial role in building and maintaining infrastructure essential to our operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install HDPE Duct, Conduit, Pull Boxes, and Fiber Optic Cable.
• Load and secure materials or equipment for transport from the shop to the job site.
• Assist in securing the job site, equipment, and materials at the end of each shift to ensure public safety and the integrity of our equipment and materials.
• Set up and manage Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) according to site-specific requirements, road conditions, and DOT specifications.
• Act as a first responder during storms and emergency restoration efforts.

Work Experience and Requirements:

• Proven ability to maintain positive working relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• Experience or knowledge in telecom and underground utilities is beneficial.

Qualifications:

• A valid Driver’s License is required; a Class A CDL is preferred.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
• Travel is required as part of the job.
• Must be capable of working in diverse weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds periodically.

Schedule:

• 8-10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

Compensation:
