Manufacturing Technician

Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am - 3:30 pm. Overtime as needed.

Job Description:
The Manufacturing Technician A is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through the application and removal of masking materials on parts, assemblies, and components in accordance with established work instructions, engineering requirements, quality standards, and production schedules. This position performs a variety of masking and demasking functions to ensure product integrity throughout manufacturing processes.
Essential Functions:
Perform masking and demasking operations on a variety of parts, assemblies, and components in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.
Prepare surfaces and materials for masking application to ensure adherence to process and quality requirements.
Apply masking materials to designated areas to protect surfaces during manufacturing and finishing operations.
Remove masking materials from completed parts without causing damage to surfaces or finished product.
Inspect parts before, during, and after masking and demasking operations to verify conformance to workmanship and quality standards.
Read and follow work instructions, manufacturing travelers, process documentation, and drawings as required.
Utilize hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.
Maintain accurate production, inspection, and process records in accordance with company requirements.
Support production schedules and workflow demands to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
Identify and communicate product, material, equipment, or process discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety, environmental, and company policies.
Work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment and support additional production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and manufacturing equipment preferred.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform manual tasks for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and move materials in accordance with job requirements.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in masking, demasking, finishing, assembly, or other related manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with quality standards, inspections, and process compliance in a manufacturing environment.
