Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Locations: Peterborough, NH | Antrim, NH | Jaffrey, NH
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Pay: $19-$27/hour
We are seeking experienced Certified Medical Assistants to join a growing healthcare team across multiple New Hampshire locations. These full-time permanent positions offer competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work in a patient-centered clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, and laboratory procedures within scope of certification
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
- Prepare and room patients for examinations and treatments
- Provide patient instructions as directed by physicians
- Maintain exam room cleanliness and stock medical supplies
- Assist with referrals, laboratory documentation, and medical records
- Return patient phone calls as directed by providers
- Support nursing and clinical staff with patient care activities
- Work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of at least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or specialized Medical Assistant training
- Minimum 3 years of Medical Assistant experience in a clinical or medical setting
- Active Medical Assistant Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
