Technician II

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will perform the day-to-day operations to provide precision cleaning and component repairs/testing in support of Pad 0A, Pad 0B, Pad 0C & PPF operations.

• Must be able to follow work instructions, interpret engineer drawings, and follow stringent work area rules and safety protocols
• Must be able to work all shifts and a reasonable amount of overtime with limited prior notification
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work at heights and confined spaces
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• Experience with mechanical, electrical or high energy systems (Ex. High pressure pneumatics/hydraulics, cryogenics, , Etc.) is desirable
• Experience in aviation or aerospace is desirable

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and technical training in the applicable area of expertise and three years related experience.

Other Essential Functions

• US Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain certifications required for operating Material Handling Equipment
• Must pass a federal background investigation
• Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
• Must comply with all “drug free workplace” requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer and the company, which requires drug testing for use of illegal drugs by employees in sensitive positions
• Must pass all applicable physicals required for this position
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle license.
