HYBRID- Must live in SE Michigan to work in Detroit, MI
Healthcare Data Analyst to review- research, compile, and analyze relevant data and make recommendations for operational improvements. You will be supporting the Medicare pharmacy Business team.
Top 5 Required Skills/Experience: (6-7 years of experience)
1. Strong working knowledge of data languages such as SAS and SQL to create business reports and dashboards
2. Working with large data sources and analyzing pharmacy data
3. Medicare Part D analytics experience
4. PBM Systems knowledge
5. SharePoint dashboard development
Required Skills/Experience:
- Ability to design and develop SharePoint site and operational reporting using SAS data sources
- Excellent analytical, planning, problem solving, verbal, and written skills to communicate complex ideas
- Excellent knowledge and use of existing software packages (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to use AI tools for data analytics and reporting
- Seven years’ experience in a related field, typically in two subject areas (e.g., financial analysis, data analytics, health care economics, statistical modeling, business decisions or business management)
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Provides audit and analytics support to Medicare pharmacy services business team
- Builds and supports business reports to be included in executive dashboar
- Leads in the research, analysis, identification, and evaluation of data from assigned problems to evaluate existing and potential trends and issues
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Health Care, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
- Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
