A manufacturing company is offering an immediate, full-time position for a Warehouse Operator who will be responsible for day-to-day staging, packing, and picking material for shipments using proper equipment. This is a third shift position.
Job Duties:
- Picking and staging feedstock for fulfillment orders
- Breaking down bulk bundles for customer-specific orders
- Packaging of material to customer requirements
- Operating a sit-down or side loader forklift to move material as needed; will be fully trained and certified in lift truck and overhead crane operations
- Proper completion of paperwork and SAP work order confirmation for shipping/receiving on the computer
- Maximum productivity for finished goods creation
- Perform all other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- A minimum 2-year similar job experience is preferred
- Must successfully pass a skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, inspection, measurement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to safely operate lift trucks and overhead cranes
- Must have basic math and computer skills
- Must have the ability to pass a physical requirement for vision, hearing, and mobility
- Must be comfortable enrolling in a registered apprenticeship program as part of training
- Steel-toed shoes with a metatarsal guard are required
- Must have a solid work history with no attendance issues
