Job Description
This job is helping a High functioning handicap wheelchair lady through her day at driving, working in office, doing errands, chores and cleaning. Days open Monday, Wednesday and 2 Saturdays a month. Hours are between 8 am and 5 pm (8 hours a day).
Job will start in Sept.
Prior experience as a personal care helper(PCA), Health care aid or rehab professional, Preferred but will train "The Right Person". Must have a valid driver license for this job and able to drive a mini-van.
****Must be in Great Physical Fit for this job. This job is very physical.
A background check will be done this is a State of CT for this job..
Will have High Energy and in Great Muscular Physical Shape for this Job. (Male workers preferred).
This Job requires hands on help.
Personal care helper duties:
1. Doing Cleaning and organizing
2. Doing errands and chores at home and office.
3. Will lifting and moving of storage Bins weighting 25 pounds. Cleaning out condo.
4. Do range of motion daily
4. Drive my van daily to go shopping, to appointments, do errands etc..
5. ***Must be able to Help with workout in pool and on land and in Gym on site. (Must be physically fit to help with workouts)
6. ***Boxing up Condo cleaning out storage in basement and upstairs.
7. Helping out wit workouts in gym and pool.
A background check will be done as part of the hiring process.
***CATS on site. (((Valid driver license required.)))
***MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 30 LBS WHEELCHAIR FOR TRANSPORT IN MY VAN DAILY up to 10 times a day.
