• Provide bereavement support to families by offering compassionate guidance and comfort throughout the process.
• Handle heavy lifting involved in moving caskets, equipment, and funeral supplies safely and efficiently.
• Manage event planning aspects related to funeral services to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of funeral home facilities and equipment.
• Support sales efforts by informing families about available services and options in a respectful manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry regulations during service preparations.

Experience

• Prior experience in funeral directing or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to offer empathetic bereavement support.
• Experience in event planning or coordinating logistics is advantageous.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Basic knowledge of sales techniques is beneficial for engaging with families about service options.
