A Warehouse Associate is an integral part of our production team that performs the receiving and shipping of product, detailed orientation for kitting of product, handling of parts and utilization of purchase order module in accounting software.
Qualifications:
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass initial drug screening
- Able to work in a high pace environment and adapt to change
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Positive attitude is a must
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software and Outlook
- Experience with accounting software is a plus
- Can pick up and move items that are 50 lbs.
- Ability to drive a fork lift
Essential Abilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
- Ensure parts are pulled for builds prior to scheduled start date
- Prepare parts for kitting
- Responsible for tracking of shipments of incoming parts from suppliers
- Ensure incoming parts are received and inventoried according to established procedures and properly received in accounting software and complete all appropriate paperwork
- Ensure all incoming product is unloaded and stocked in appropriate location
- Ensure all out-going parts are packaged properly for shipment and in time for scheduled pick up date/time
- Ensure defective merchandise is replaced or repaired by vendors and defective merchandise is returned to vendor
- Complete AEP and manufacturers Return Material Authorization Forms (for exchange or repair), obtain authorization for the return from the manufacturer, and ship product to supplier with necessary paper work
- Manage and complete physical inventory of the warehouse on a monthly basis
- Manage consumable items for the shop and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages
