• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to support overall well-being.
• Work with individuals with disabilities or those requiring long-term care in home or community settings to foster independence and safety.

Experience

• Prior experience in home health care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to perform patient observation accurately and respond promptly to changing conditions.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and vital signs measurement.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia enhances your ability to provide tailored care.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensures confidentiality and proper handling of medical records.
• Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as hospice care training or catheter care are advantageous.
• Proficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for documentation is preferred.
