Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance, safety, and productivity. This role is essential in minimizing downtime and supporting efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNC machines and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues affecting CNC operations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex machine malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
- Assist with the installation, calibration, and setup of new CNC equipment and tooling.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and efficiency enhancements.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, electrical diagrams, and control systems.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing complex CNC equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in industrial maintenance preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Standing for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to noise, electrical hazards, and moving machinery.
- Use of PPE required at all times.
