Join our team at Gallan Lumber as a Mill Worker in South Paris, ME! This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll play a crucial role in the production process.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a milling equipment to ensure efficient production.
- Report any maintenance needs to supervisors promptly
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform quality checks on wood products to meet specifications.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving machinery issues.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or mill environment is a plus.
- Ability to operate machinery and tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Team player with strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime.
