Raptor Medicines is a Venture Capital backed biotech therapeutics company with offices in Boulder and Boston.  The company is engaged in preclinical R&D programs focused on new cutting edge medicines for diseases of the Kidney at our Boulder site.  The Company is seeking Research Associates and Scientists with experience in the following chemical and biochemical techniques.

·      Chemical synthesis of biologically active molecules with preference given to candidates with experience in Heterocylic synthetic chemistry

·      Experience with air-sensitive chemistry techniques and isolating reactive intermediates

·      Familiar with automated RNA and DNA chemical synthesis.

·      Analysis and purification of DNA and RNA (Ion Exchange Chromatography, HPLC, PAGE gels, etc.)

·      Knowledge of bio-conjugation chemistries and purifications methods for antibodies, proteins, nucleic acids and lipids desired.

 

The successful candidate will have a BS or MS degree with 3 to 7 years experience in the research laboratory with a proven track record of success.  Recent Ph.D. graduates with 0 – 2 years experience are also encouraged to apply.  Success can be demonstrated by publications, conference presentations, scientific posters or patents.  Please submit a Resume or CV as part of your application.
