Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician (All Shifts Available) — $38–$45/hour + OTOverview

When equipment goes down, every minute matters. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll keep industrial systems running by performing fast, safe corrective repairs, completing preventive maintenance on time, and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and process equipment to reduce downtime. Required Skills

• Perform corrective repairs quickly and safely to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process equipment issues
• Maintain and work with industrial process equipment, including:
  • Pumps, drives, gearboxes, and related components
  • Boilers, air compressors, and chillers

• Perform basic wiring, including:
  • Conduit installation
  • Electrical component replacement

• Use electrical testing tools (e.g., meter/test equipment) to verify performance and identify faults
• Complete preventive maintenance (PMs), inspections, and assigned work orders on time
• Document completed work in an electronic PM/CMMS system (paper checklists may be used in some cases)
• Provide facility maintenance support as needed (light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Support teamwork by assisting other maintenance team members as needed
• Contribute to continuous improvement by finding ways to improve equipment reliability and reduce repeat issues
• Recommend improvements to reduce downtime, including spare parts and tool needs

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience supporting reliability improvements or reducing repeat maintenance issues
• Familiarity with communicating improvement recommendations to support downtime reduction

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Background/training aligned with preventive maintenance programs and manufacturing equipment operation
• Basic computer skills (including Microsoft Office)

Other Requirements

• Basic understanding/knowledge of:
  • High/low voltage and 3-phase electrical
  • General fabrication practices

• Self-motivated and dependable; able to work well in a team
• Willingness to work any shift, plus weekends as needed
• Ability to:
  • Move throughout the facility to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Work in tight spaces, at heights, and in industrial environments
  • Perform hands-on maintenance work as required

• Safety & compliance expectations:
  • Follow site safety policies and industrial safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space, and Fall Protection
  • Comply with PPE requirements and wear a respirator when required
  • Report incidents/near-misses promptly and follow environmental, safety, and quality procedures

Salary$38–$45/hour (All shifts available; overtime available)
