Position: Certified Financial Aid Administrator

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Job description:

The position of DeHart Technical School Financial Aid Officer reports directly to and receives training and guidance from the Director. They are responsible for the creation, maintenance, processing and close-out of student Financial Aid and Finance files and for maintaining all students’ Title IV disbursements per federal regulations and for discussing financial aid packages and school finance options with students and their families under the direct supervision of the Director.

Minimum Requirements & Essential Duties:

• Currently or previously certified financial aid administrator.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of financial aid policies, procedures, and eligibility requirements.
• Flexibility to work with student schedules for financial aid sessions.
• Must be proficient in document collection, verification, and timely follow up
• Poses strong knowledge of Federal & State financial aid programs
• Ability to attend ongoing certification and education conferences that pertain to Financial Aid, while maintaining those certifications and ongoing trainings required by Federal and State regulations

 Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• No weekends
