Senior Audit Associate

We are seeking a Senior Audit Associate to lead client engagements, mentor staff, and provide high-quality assurance services to a diverse client base, including privately held companies and nonprofit organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform audit, review, and assurance engagements for a variety of clients.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee multiple phases of audit engagements from start to completion.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
• Review work prepared by staff accountants and provide coaching and mentorship.
• Identify and communicate accounting, auditing, and internal control issues.
• Ensure engagements are completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay current with accounting standards, auditing methodologies, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to support client service excellence and firm growth.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of public accounting experience focused on audit and assurance services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA license preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA certification are encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of auditing standards and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus.
