SKILLED BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR

Job Title: Skilled Brake Press Operator- 2nd

Monday- Thursday 4:00PM - 2:30AM

Summary/Scope of Role:

To manage all functions/aspects of running a brake press, following job specifications and instructions provided from the set-up of the machine, testing, QC, to project completion.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have experience with brake press

• Responsible for machine/program set-up

• Ability to troubleshoot problems and challenges

• Must be able to follow job specifications/travelers, and interpret direction details

• Must be able to take direction while also self-guide work tasks

• Responsible for initial QC of finished part to ensure quality

• Ability to work independently and self-guide tasks Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old

• 1-3 years applicable brake press experience (Amada America preferred)

• Metal manufacturing/fabrication background

• Laser punch, waterjet, CNC router, and/or welding experience, a plus

• Amada America machinery experience preferred.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
