Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our die casting manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing die casting equipment and related machinery to ensure continuous, efficient, and safe production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on die casting machines, furnaces, mold equipment, and auxiliary systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct repairs and adjustments to ensure equipment operates at optimal performance.
- Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery and tooling.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation of repairs.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal impact on production schedules.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in die casting or metal fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in maintenance or industrial systems preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Standing for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to heat, noise, electrical components, and moving machinery.
- Use of PPE required at all times.
