Landscape Crew Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Crew Leader & Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising a team of landscape crew members and delivering top-quality maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of 2–5 team members.
• Drive and operate fleet trucks vehicles to transport crew, tools, and materials between job sites.
• Ensure all maintenance activities — mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and clean-ups .
• Train and mentor team members in best horticultural and safety practices.
• Monitor quality, efficiency, and ensure all work is completed on schedule and to standard.
• Conduct equipment and safety inspections; ensure compliance with DOT and company policies.
• Communicate daily with clients, account managers, and team members.
• Track attendance, materials usage, and time accurately.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
• 1+ years of proven leadership or crew management experience.
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience driving fleet trucks and towing trailers.
• Knowledge of mowing, pruning, irrigation, and landscape maintenance equipment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.

Dress Code & PPE

• Required attire: khaki pants or jeans, work boots.
• Provided: all PPE (personal protective equipment).
