PATIENT INFORMATION

• Average Daily Volume: 25 patients/day
  
• Case Mix: Wound care cases (chronic wounds, diabetic ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds)
  
  • Supervise HBOs
    

FACILITY INFORMATION

• EMR System: Epic
  
• Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 Office Staff
  

PROCEDURES/DUTIES:

• Supervision of HBO for head-to-toe diagnosis
  
• HBO preadmission evaluation, work-up, and clearance to start HBO therapy
  
• Wound debridement
  
• Bedside incision and drainage of abscesses
  
• Wound VAC placement and management
  
• Suturing and staple placement/removal
  
• Tissue biopsies
  
• Application of skim subs
  
• Management of ostomies
  
• Vascular Lymphatic workup assessment management
  
  

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: No
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE
  
• Licenses: IL or IMLC
  
• Certifications: BLS
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive wound care in an outpatient clinic setting
  
• Perform wound assessments, debridement, and advanced dressing changes
  
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for chronic and acute wounds
  
• Collaborate with nursing staff, office personnel, and referring providers
  
• Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
