Position Overview 

One of our Partners in North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician for a weekend call opportunity at a well-supported community women's health program.

This assignment provides shared call coverage within an established OB/GYN practice and includes labor and delivery coverage, emergency gynecologic procedures, inpatient management, and surgical care as needed. Providers benefit from strong nursing support, onsite specialty services, and manageable patient volumes.

This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a short-term weekend assignment with predictable volumes and a collaborative practice environment.

Assignment Highlights

• Joint Commission Certified staffing partner
• HPA Healthcare is an active member of NALTO
• Weekend call coverage only
• Shared 1:3 call schedule
• Not required to remain onsite during call
• Must respond within 30 minutes
• Established team of 2 Physicians and 4 Nurses
• Approximately 30-40 deliveries per month
• Approximately 14 surgical cases per month
• Average inpatient census of 6 patients
• 2-3 OB checks per day
• No ICU or critical care procedures
• No code response responsibilities
• Epic EMR (HealthSpan)
• Orientation required before first call shift
• 24-hour call includes first 2 callback hours
• Provider Pay Ranking: Top 20% nationally (2026)
