About who needs care: Dad has early stage Alzheimers, a catheter, and needs assistance with medication reminders. Dad loves flowers and gardening and watching his favorite tv shows. About the care needs: We prefer a caregiver with a very kind personality who is soft spoken and caring as Dad can become easily overwhelmed if anyone is too direct or has a harsh tone. Special skills: ability to care for someone with early stage Alzheimers, catheter care, and helping with basic hygiene. No specific hobbies / interests are necessary. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
