Absolute International Security (AIS) is a licensed Private Patrol Operator serving clients throughout Southern California. Due to continued growth and new contract opportunities, we are actively seeking professional and dependable Part-Time Armed Security Officers for 3rd Shift (Overnight) assignments throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.

We are looking for individuals who are alert, reliable, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing exceptional customer service.

Position Summary

As a Part-Time Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting client properties, personnel, and assets during overnight hours. This position requires strong observation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of assigned properties

Monitor buildings, parking lots, and restricted areas during overnight hours

Detect, deter, and report suspicious activity or security violations

Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents

Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems

Enforce site-specific rules, policies, and procedures

Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports

Maintain a professional and visible security presence

Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors

Administer CPR and basic first aid when necessary

Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required

Required Qualifications

Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required)

BSIS Exposed Firearm Permit (Required)

BSIS Baton Permit (Required)

BSIS Pepper Spray (OC) Certification (Required)

Current CPR/First Aid Certification (Required)

Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record

Reliable transportation

Availability to work overnight and weekend shifts

Strong communication and report-writing skills

Excellent observation and problem-solving abilities

Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies

Preferred Qualifications

Previous armed security experience

Military or law enforcement background

Experience with CCTV monitoring and access control systems

Knowledge of emergency response procedures
