Sit-Down Forklift Operator

We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Bilingual Forklift Operators to support warehouse operations in a food distribution environment. This is a long-term opportunity for individuals who are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, attendance, and productivity.

Essential Job Functions

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load, unload, transport, and store products throughout the warehouse.
• Move materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Verify product quantities, labels, and locations to support inventory accuracy.
• Follow all company policies, food safety procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety regulations.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support warehouse and production operations as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification as required by the employer.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Experience in food manufacturing, food distribution, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with inventory control and warehouse management practices.
