The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, and issuing timely payments. This role maintains vendor records, resolves billing discrepancies, and supports month-end close activities.
Key duties include reviewing and matching invoices to purchase orders, processing payments (ACH, check, wire), reconciling vendor statements, and responding to vendor inquiries. The role also ensures compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Qualifications include 2–5 years of AP or accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
