An industrial printing machine mechanic is a specialized technician responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty printing equipment. They ensure commercial printing presses, bindery systems, and packaging lines run smoothly with minimal operational downtime.

2ND SHIFT POSITION 2pm-11pm
$21-$24 per hour
Key Responsibilities
• Mechanical & Electrical Repairs: Diagnosing and fixing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components in high-volume production presses.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conducting routine mechanical servicing to prevent breakdowns and prolong the lifespan of printing systems.
• Calibration & Alignment: Adjusting mechanical tension, rollers, and fluid/ink systems for precise color and print quality.
• Upgrades: Installing machinery upgrades and integrating new hardware with existing software infrastructures.
Education & Career Paths
• Qualifications:
Requires a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering. Technical or trade school degrees and manufacturer certifications (e.g., from HP, Canon, or Xerox) are highly preferred.
• Skills:
Strong blueprint reading abilities, mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of computer-controlled machinery are essential
