TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80110!
RN – Med-Surg/Telemetry Float Pool | Travel Assignment
Assignment Details:
- 13-week travel assignment
- 12-hour Evening/Night shifts (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend requirement: 6–9 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule
- Holiday rotation may be required
Patient Ratios:
- Typically 1:5–1:6, based on patient acuity

Requirements
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
- Prior Neuro experience preferred
- Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
- Ability to work across multiple Med-Surg and Telemetry specialty units
- Experience with Heparin drip management
- Comfortable floating to various units including MS-Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and ICU (low-acuity holds within skill set)
- Experience with respiratory support equipment including CPAP and BiPAP
- EPIC charting experience preferred

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
- Perform patient assessments and develop care plans
- Monitor telemetry patients and recognize changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Manage Heparin infusions according to protocol
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
- Float to assigned units based on staffing and patient care needs
- Ensure compliance with patient safety and quality standards
