Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week (48 Hours Available for Interested Candidates)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a busy Level II Trauma facility. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative critical care environment while caring for a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive bedside nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Delegate and oversee patient care activities performed by support staff.
• Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and care coordination.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for new staff and students when needed.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

• ICU Ratios: 1:2 (1:1 for select critical patients)
• Step-Down Ratios: 1:4
• EMR: Cerner
• Trauma Level II Facility

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required.
• Active Michigan RN License required at submission.
• Must be comfortable floating to Step-Down and Emergency Department units when needed.
• Experience caring for high-acuity critical care patients.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills.
