About this job
About the Practice
Premier's Financial Transformation Advisory Practice reimagines the entire patient financial journey, from intake to invoice, helping health systems achieve sustainable margin improvement through an integrated, enterprise-wide approach. Rather than pursuing isolated fixes, our team works end-to-end across three interconnected pillars that drive lasting financial performance:
- Revenue Cycle: Reducing revenue leakage, accelerating cash flow, and elevating the patient financial experience through transparent, consumer-friendly billing and tech-enabled visibility into performance.
- Managed Care: Strengthening payer accountability, contracting, and reimbursement integrity, and evaluating payer relationships through benchmarking and strategic insight so clients can negotiate from a position of strength.
- Clinical Integrity: Improving clinical documentation accuracy to strengthen both care quality and reimbursement integrity, bridging the gap between clinical excellence and financial performance.
Because every part of the care journey, from clinical documentation to billing and payer strategy, is interconnected, our consultants combine trusted advisory relationships with advanced analytics, automation, and AI to help clients reduce friction, uncover hidden opportunities, and strengthen accountability across the enterprise. National benchmarks and strategic collaboratives give our teams, and our clients, insight no single organization could access alone. This approach has driven measurable results for health systems nationwide, including hundreds of millions of dollars in combined financial and clinical transformation savings and tens of millions in revenue gains from optimized payer strategy and denial management. Our practice was recognized with Modern Healthcare's Best in Business award in the Consultants: Healthcare Management category in both 2024 and 2025.
