Position Summary:
Manages the overall operations, activities, and staff of assigned program site within direct area of responsibility.

Salary Range: $ 57,470 - $ 58,635
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily program operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Manage employee performance, including coaching, evaluations, professional development, and disciplinary actions.
- Participate in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation, reports, treatment plans, and program records.
- Coordinate and monitor individualized service plans, behavioral supports, and medical care to meet the needs of individuals served.
- Maintain effective communication with individuals served, families, guardians, healthcare professionals, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Monitor program budgets, expenses, transportation resources, and operational efficiency.
- Respond to emergencies, provide on-call support as needed, and ensure a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.
- Serve as an advocate and role model while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life for individuals served.
- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals served as needed.
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives and participate in special projects and program development activities.
Education & Experience:
An incumbent in this position who has graduated from an accredited college with a BA in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Pathology, Social Work, Recreation, Art, Dance, Music, Physical Education, Nutrition, Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, or Psychology AND possesses at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries.
High School diploma or equivalent required with two-three years in the Human Services or related field. Prior management experience and a strong desire to work with neurologically-challenged individuals. BA in a related field plus one year of related experience preferred.
Brain Injury/BIS Day Treatment Program Managers are required to achieve certification from the American Academy for the Certification of Brain Injury Specialists (AACBIS) within the first 18 months of employment, and maintain ongoing annual certification requirements.
