Job Title: Assembly Worker
Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Worker in a first-shift position, working from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 40-hour work week. Enjoy two paid breaks during the day, along with an unpaid lunch break. This role involves working in a facility that receives hydraulic motors for repair and refurbishment. You'll be responsible for disassembling motors, repairing and replacing components such as bearings and seals, using standard hand tools provided.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble hydraulic motors using hand tools.
  • Repair and replace components such as bearings and seals.
  • Start in part washing, cleaning, polishing, and power washing parts.
  • Determine reusable parts and store them correctly.
  • Power wash equipment as needed.
  • Participate in team-based tasks with other assembly workers.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in assembly and mechanical tasks.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic pumps and motors.
  • Capability to inspect and assess parts for reuse.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in warehouse, automotive, or farming environments.
  • Willingness to learn and attend work regularly.
  • Interest in automotive and mechanical repair.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
