Groundskeeping & Landscape Maintenance Worke

Rightstone is looking for a Groundskeeping & Landscape Maintenance Worker to support operations across our Kenosha and Racine, WI locations. The pay rate is $16.00/hr for a full-time, 40 to 45-hour-per-week, 1-month contract with potential for renewal.

In this role, you will be a key person responsible for maintaining the presentation, neatness, and upkeep of premium park grounds and surrounding areas. This is an active, completely outdoor position where you will follow a scheduled rotation between two local properties,

What you will do

• Perform daily grounds maintenance, trash removal, and debris cleanup to ensure properties remain presentable and safe for visitors.
• Operate basic landscaping equipment safely and efficiently, including commercial lawn mowers, string trimmers, and edgers.
• Execute precise mowing, trimming, and edging schedules to maintain clean, manicured property boundary lines.
• Follow a structured travel schedule to split your time and support facility maintenance operations across both the Kenosha and Racine locations.
• Collaborate closely with full-time grounds staff, stepping in to assist with specialized park upkeep projects as needed.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines, maintaining a professional and respectful presence on the grounds at all times.

What we are looking for

• Must possess an active, valid Driver's License (this is a strict requirement due to traveling between regional locations).
• Previous practical experience utilizing professional landscaping tools, commercial mowers, or general lawn care equipment.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy items while working comfortably outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Absolute reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work on a 40 to 45-hour weekly schedule (Monday–Friday, with openness to weekends as needed).
• A strong, proactive work ethic with the ability to manage your daily task schedule independently.
• A professional demeanor, especially when working in public park or community facility spaces.

This is a temporary/contract position. While benefits (Health, 401k, PTO) are not provided during the contract period.
