Job Description
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to provide essential behavioral services within an education center specializing in support for students with severe behavior and physical disabilities. This assignment is based near Minneapolis, MN, and runs from September 8, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week and the chance to make a significant impact across multiple classrooms.
As part of a committed team, you’ll work in a structured environment alongside dedicated educators, focusing on students who require intensive support. The caseload includes 35-40 students, including those in a setting 4 environment, across both the South Education Center and North Education Center—all within a single building.
Key Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification, with proven experience managing behavioral programs in educational settings
- Familiarity supporting students with significant behavioral and physical needs, ideally in a setting 4 district
- Strong skills in completing FBAs, report writing, behavior intervention planning, and related paperwork
- Comfort leading debriefings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and training school staff
- Commitment to ethical behavior analytic practices and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop targeted intervention plans
- Support multiple classrooms, collaborating with teachers to implement plans with fidelity
- Maintain timely and thorough paperwork, including data collection and progress monitoring
- Lead debriefings and provide training or consultation as needed
- Foster a positive, proactive relationship with students and staff
