Accounting Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and lead a team of accounting professionals. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting support, audits, fixed assets, general ledger activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and supervise accounting staff
• Review financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Coordinate annual audits and assist with tax reporting requirements
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and annual inventory processes
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to leadership
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes, and internal controls
• Collaborate with department leaders on financial reporting and budgeting needs
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
• Prior supervisory or management experience required
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $91,000 – $130,000 annually
