Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic educational environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 academic year! This full-time opportunity supports students across elementary and secondary levels, with thoughtfully managed caseloads of 42 and 45 respectively. You’ll work on-site with a supportive team, empowering students to find their voices while collaborating with educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State SLP License and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate required
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to students with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with special education teams
  • Maintain detailed records in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Engage with students, families, and staff to support student growth, advocacy, and inclusion
  • Provide consultative support and progress reporting for educators and related service professionals
  • Foster a positive, encouraging, and culturally responsive learning environment

This is an onsite, school-based role for the entire academic year, scheduled from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027. Multiple openings are available, ensuring you’ll be part of a vibrant group of professionals dedicated to making a real impact.
