LHH is actively seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for one of our top clients in NYC! This will be a contract to hire opportunity with our client and will work hybrid to their office in Manhattan.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Planning Analyst to support end-to-end inventory planning and execution activities for a growing consumer products organization. This role is responsible for managing inventory replenishment, monitoring stock levels, coordinating product receipts, maintaining planning parameters, and delivering actionable reporting and insights.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and enjoys collaborating across Sales, Operations, Marketing, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics teams. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical supply chain planning activities while driving inventory optimization, forecast accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain weekly inventory replenishment plans across multiple warehouse locations.
- Monitor inventory levels, inbound receipts, and inventory performance to ensure product availability while maintaining optimal inventory investment.
- Track and report on key inventory and supply chain KPIs, proactively identifying opportunities to improve inventory velocity and reduce excess stock.
- Analyze forecasts against historical trends and actual demand to support effective inventory planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics teams to ensure inventory requirements are met and products arrive according to schedule.
- Partner with Inventory Control to reconcile monthly inventory reports and investigate and resolve discrepancies between warehouse records and internal systems.
- Manage inventory levels for both domestic and imported products, including the identification and reduction of slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Maintain and optimize planning parameters within planning systems to support effective inventory management and execution processes.
- Generate ad hoc analyses and reporting to support business planning and supply chain initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to support supply chain planning and execution activities.
- Gain exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations, from demand validation and inventory planning through shipment execution and performance tracking.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance forecast accuracy, inventory management, and customer service levels.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Production Planning, or related functions.
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities and experience supporting collaborative supply and demand planning processes.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with inventory planning systems, forecasting tools, or DDMRP methodologies is preferred.
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Understanding of DRP (Distribution Requirements Planning) and supply planning concepts.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Primarily office-based work environment.
- Limited physical demands, with occasional movement of light materials.
- Regular use of computers and standard office equipment requiring normal visual, hearing, and communication abilities.
